Leadership in Turner’s New York Office Expands to Support Growth
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- Turner is pleased to announce that Charlie Avolio, Tom Stachowiak, and Chris Zegler have each been promoted to vice president and general manager of Turner’s New York office. They join John Thomann, who continues to serve as vice president and general manager of Turner’s New York Interiors group, and Carl Stewart who has been promoted to vice president and general manager of New York North, in providing senior leadership in the state.
Turner’s New York business unit has grown significantly in the last five years. It now employs nearly 1,000 people and completes more than $2 billion of construction per year for more than 100 clients in the region. The expansion of the senior leadership team supports this regional growth.
Moving forward, the New York business unit will have five groups: New York North, New York Interiors and New York Main, which will be made up of three groups. Each of these groups will be led by a vice president and general manager reporting to Charlie Murphy, senior vice president. The New York business unit’s five general managers will provide the leadership needed to deliver the best services to our customers and support the growth of our people.
Turner is also pleased to announce that Mark Pulsfort and Bert Rahm are promoted to vice president and senior operations manager and that Joe Byrne, Carlo DiSilvestro and Ron Krukowski are promoted to vice president and operations manager.
Given the increasing importance of Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects in our region and for our company, Kevin Sharkey now serves as vice president and manager of PPP work in New York, leading our efforts to secure and deliver these projects.
Additional leaders recognized for their leadership are Kim Neuscheler who is promoted to project executive and Susan Wyler who is promoted to senior engineer.
These changes increase the opportunities available to our people and our company. They also offer a higher level of flexibility with which to serve the needs of our customers.
