Learn How to Advance Emotional Development in Young Children with CCEI Early Childhood Training
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), an online child care training course and certificate provider, offers CCEI3011–Birth to Five: Emotional Development in Young Children as a no-cost trial course to new CCEI users during the month of October in recognition of Emotional Intelligence Awareness Month.
October’s trial course examines the development of emotional intelligence in young children. Emotional intelligence is awareness about how our minds influence our thoughts and behavior. Participants will learn about Erikson’s eight stages of emotional development, methods of increasing emotional literacy, and activities that can be applied in the home to encourage emotional development.
“Like other courses in our Birth to Five series, CCEI3011 provides essential information on the principles of child development,” said Maria C. Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI. "This course helps early care professionals guide children as they learn to understand and manage their feelings and their relationships with others."
This beginner-level training course is available as a trial course to new users for CCEI account creation in October. Current CCEI students with active, unlimited annual subscriptions can enroll in all courses at no additional cost when logged in to their CCEI account. Users without subscriptions can purchase child care training courses as block hours through online enrollment.
