San Francisco (PRWEB) March 09, 2017 -- Leading higher education resource and information provider LearnHowToBecome.org has released its analysis of the Best Colleges in New Jersey for 2017. The site evaluated two- and four-year schools across the state to find the colleges and universities that offer the best combination of quality, student services and post-college earnings. Of the 46 total schools ranked, Princeton University, Stevens Institute of Technology, The College of New Jersey, Rutgers University New Brunswick and Rutgers University Newark topped the list in the four-year category, while Rowan College at Burlington County, Mercer County Community College, Raritan Valley Community College, Camden County College and Salem Community College earned top scores in the two-year category. Each school included in the ranking is listed below.
“New Jersey has a strong and established higher education system, which is great news for students who are exploring college options,” said Wes Ricketts, senior vice president of LearnHowToBecome.org. “The schools on our list have demonstrated a strong commitment to students, combining quality education with helpful resources that prepare them to be competitive in the job market after graduation.”
Schools on New Jersey’s “Best Colleges” leaderboard must meet specific base requirements to be included: all hold regional accreditation, not-for-profit standing. Individual scoring is then established based on additional criteria that include the annual alumni earnings 10 years after entering college, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates and more.
