Learning to Love in the Face of Betrayal
RALEIGH, N.C (PRWEB) April 12, 2016 -- Growing up with an alcoholic father, author Tracy Morrisey experienced things no child should face. Burdened with her father’s struggle, she wondered if her life would forever be defined by his addiction.
In her new book, “Just in Time,” Morrisey candidly shares her story of growing up with an alcoholic father to come alongside others who are feeling helpless in their own struggle. Throughout the book Morrisey explains how she took it upon herself to fix her father’s problems, but it was not until she surrendered her burden to the Lord that she experienced freedom from the stress, and forgiveness towards her father.
“Just in Time” is intended to portray God’s faithfulness through obstacles and how they can be used to teach others lessons. The book draws readers into the story as the last chapter lays out guidelines from the Lord on how to handle life’s struggles.
“God allowed my family to endure struggle for a greater good,” said Morrisey. “He’s used my testimony to show others how to love and forgive as He does.”
Author Tracy Morrisey has dedicated her life to serving God and serving others. Morrisey is a Registered Nurse Manager of an Endoscopy Center. When she is not working, Morrisey actively serves in her church on the praise and worship team, nursery, Christian education board and teaches toddlers on Wednesday nights.
Whether an addict or the victim of addiction, “Just in Time” demonstrates the power of grace, forgiveness and salvation.
