LeisureLink COO to Present at HITEC 2015 Tech Talks
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Jim Barsch, COO of LeisureLink, the market leader in vacation rental technology solutions, will be a featured Tech Talks presenter at this year’s HITEC, the world's largest hospitality technology conference. The event, to be held June 15-18 at the Austin Convention Center in Texas, is expected to draw more than 5000 attendees, including leading hospitality executives and suppliers representing hotels, resorts, travel and technology.
In this provocative session, titled "The Impact of Alternative Accommodations and Vacation Rentals on the Travel & Hospitality Industry” Jim will focus on how the 84 billion dollar peer-to-peer and vacation rental industry is disrupting the hotel and travel industry and could change their trajectory in the coming years. The presentation will be an overview for hotels about the impact of vacation rentals, with insights into different types of alternative accommodations, why this segment is growing so quickly, and the differences between vacation rentals and hotels.
“You can’t put the genie back in the bottle,” explains Jim. “With significant changes coming to the hospitality landscape, this is a great opportunity to engage with other hotel and technology executives to discuss what hotel and travel brands can do to best prepare.”
