LendEDU Launches Text-in Financial Aid Hotline for Students and Families
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA (PRWEB) April 19, 2016 -- LendEDU launched a new tool to help students and families navigate financial aid, scholarships, and student loans. The tool, known as the LendEDU Financial Aid Hotline, is a free text-in service designed to quickly answer any question related to financial aid, scholarships, and student loans.
This new tool will be available starting today. Simply text-in financial aid questions to the hotline at (302) 278-4037 and users can receive a detailed response from the staff within 15 minutes. During non-business hours, users can receive a detailed response in under 24 hours. LendEDU Financial Aid Hotline will be supported in-house by the LendEDU team. At least one representative will be logged into the system at all times during business hours.
“April is the official National Financial Literacy month. At LendEDU, we wanted to create a tool to help promote understanding and comprehension within the financial aid process,” said Nate Matherson, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer. “The rapidly rising costs of higher education has made financial literacy even more important for students and families. I will admit, financial aid isn’t the most exciting topic. We hope that our text-in hotline will make financial aid, scholarships, and student loans easier to digest for students and families.”

Students and families can receive detailed responses within 15 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. During non-business hours, students and families can receive detailed responses within 24 hours. Standard text messaging rates will apply. The LendEDU Financial Aid Hotline is a complimentary service paid for and managed by LendEDU. High schools and colleges are able to make the hotline available to students and families for no cost.
