Lewis, NC Legislator and Agribusinessman, Joins Sentinel Risk Advisors
Raleigh, North Carolina (PRWEB) August 25, 2016 -- Sentinel Risk Advisors announced today a notable addition to its risk management executive team with the hiring of David R. Lewis, a seven-term N.C. House lawmaker from Harnett County.
Sentinel—a premier insurance brokerage firm with a reputation for exceptional client experience in 36 states—has offices in Raleigh and Greenville, with plans to add several more around the state in the next two years. Lewis will focus on southeastern North Carolina and lead the effort to open Sentinel’s Fayetteville office.
Lewis, chairman of the House Rules Committee, is a lifelong farmer and entrepreneur with strong ties to agribusiness. He will continue to oversee operations on his family farm, Lewis Farms, Inc., when he officially joins Sentinel September 15.
Sentinel Managing Partner Jim Holmes said Lewis’ agribusiness expertise will add a particular depth to the Raleigh-based firm’s intellectual capital and capacity.
