Short’s practice is focused primarily in the areas of land use regulation, zoning and real estate acquisition and disposition. She represents commercial developers, national homebuilding companies and master planned community developers in various areas, including: acquisition of land, negotiation of development agreements, securing zoning and land use entitlements, negotiation of development financing, preparation of construction and sales contracts and virtually all areas of acquisition, development and sale.
Short is a Zoning Adjustment Hearing Officer for the City of Phoenix and a past chair and member of Arizona Forward.
Short holds a J.D. with honors from the Florida State University College of Law, an M.S.P. in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University and a B.S.B.A., magna cum laude, from University of Central Florida.
