Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP proudly announces that Jill J. Ormond has joined the firm’s litigation practice group. Ormond is Of Counsel and based in Lewis Roca Rothgerber’s Phoenix office.
Ormond is a premises liability attorney with nearly a decade of experience in tort and complex commercial litigation matters. Ormond is versed in virtually all aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice, case evaluation, trial and alternative dispute resolution. She has particular knowledge in the following areas: insurance defense, products liability, premises liability, business and civil litigation, entertainment law and intellectual property.
Prior to joining Lewis Roca Rothgerber, Ormond defended business owners and product manufacturers in complex litigation matters. She also advised clients regarding e-discovery issues including document management, preservation, litigation holds, document analysis and discovery of electronically stored information.
Ormond is a Judge Pro Tempore for the Maricopa County Superior Court, and she is a board member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and the Arizona Women’s Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the past president of the Arizona Production Association.
Ormond holds a J.D. from the University of Nevada’s William Boyd School of Law and a B.A. in political science from Arizona State University.
