LexisNexis Launches Enhanced SEC Filings Search and Other Powerful Customer-Driven Updates to Lexis Securities Mosaic

Highlights include an all-new SEC filings search function that enables users to find SEC-related documents and information faster and more efficiently than ever. The additions underscore the broad investment LexisNexis is making in the critical Securities and M&A practice areas.

The core set of changes to Lexis Securities Mosaic focus on user experience enhancements and new capabilities within the SEC filings search page, search results listings and document views.
Updates to design align the look and user experience of Securities Mosaic with the other legal research solutions from LexisNexis, for a faster, more intuitive use. Functionality enhancements include a comprehensive library of more than 130 predefined searches that enable users to get a jump start on searches with fast access to highly utilized topics such as spin-offs, exchange offers, cybersecurity disclosure, and many other topics and transactions. Additionally, SEC comment letters and company correspondence are now built directly into search results to help users quickly and accurately draft filings guided by previous SEC comments. New post search filters also help users more accurately refine results to see precisely the documents and information relevant to their needs.
While LexisNexis has updated the look and added new tools, it has also retained all previous search functionality to ensure users have the same search options they have come to use and value.
Other new features to Securities Mosaic include expanded segment searching to help users pinpoint information within specific filing types, a “View More Hits” option to evaluate search results, a “Direct Batch Download” tool for faster downloading of selected documents, easier access to the popular Redline Tool to compare changes in documents, and speedier identification of and navigation through all references in a document with updates to the Reference Retriever tool.
