LexisNexis Showcases Innovations Across its Portfolio of Solutions at LegalTech New York 2016

Newly acquired Lex Machina will be at the LexisNexis booth demonstrating its award-winning Legal Analytics® solution that helps lawyers make strategic, data-driven decisions and develop winning litigation strategies. Specifically, Lex Machina will be previewing an exclusive new feature that dramatically improves the quality and accuracy of government-supplied attorney data for District Court cases. The new Attorney Data Engine is designed to enhance attorney information from PACER, which can be inaccurate, missing or flat-out wrong. Attorney Data Engine enables lawyers to correctly identify which attorneys were associated with a specific case, and what role they played, so that they can better formulate winning legal strategies.
With the latest update for Lexis® Advance occurring right before LegalTech New York, LexisNexis will highlight the brand new “Explore Content” source-section filter that offers users an easy option to quickly find the precise sources they want to search and organize results more efficiently.
Also announced in January and available to see at LegalTech is the integration of Lexis® for Microsoft Office with Lexis® Practice Advisor, enabling transactional attorneys to quickly find and use the practice advice, resources and market data they need for on-point drafting within the familiar desktop applications they use every day. The integration is the latest step in the LexisNexis strategy to create an integrated legal research platform that can be accessed from anywhere and at any point of the legal workflow.
A team will be on hand to discuss the latest content and feature updates for Lexis® Securities Mosaic®, a solution designed for securities practitioners and researchers who are focused on SEC compliance, disclosure, transactions and regulation. Experts will also be available to discuss the extension of the LexisNexis® Newsdesk media monitoring and market intelligence solution to legal professionals.
Additionally, visitors to the LexisNexis booth can learn about the upcoming migration the company’s entire archive of more than 50 years of news coverage onto Lexis Advance in February.
Rethinking eDiscovery Solutions
The key to controlling eDiscovery costs rests in reducing the volume of litigation data before turning it over for review. This is the underlying catalyst for early case assessment (ECA) and the need to gain greater insights into data, earlier in the process. To that end, LexisNexis will unveil an enhanced software tool at the LegalTech 2016 conference focused on ECA. The new product promises to reduce more costs, better manage risks, and enable litigators to develop savvier litigation strategies.

Simultaneously, LexisNexis will also launch an entirely new Concordance® Desktop eDiscovery product at the conference. Designed for small and mid-sized law firm, the new product unifies five separate products, providing a modernized and easy-to-use eDiscovery platform with simplified licensing.
