Liberty Wear Announces Fundraiser in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness
Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- October marks the annual celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the United States. For a limited time only, Liberty Wear, American clothing designer and manufacturer, will offer the option of adding a pink ribbon logo to any shirt in their Faith & Hope line to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition, Liberty Wear will donate a portion of the proceeds from its Faith & Hope line to the fight against breast cancer.
“Liberty Wear has designed an apparel line for men and women, with the option of a pink ribbon logo to add to any shirt. We are trying to bring attention to the fight everyone with breast cancer goes through every day. Our Faith & Hope line was designed after we lost a friend and client who fought breast cancer for many years. It is our way to honor her and the cause,” says Tammy Jackson, owner of Liberty Wear.
For every shirt sold, Liberty Wear will donate $1.50 and 25 cents for every logo added. The donations will be distributed among a variety of organizations dedicated to the fight against breast cancer including Valley Girls & Guys and Cody Kickin’ Cancer. "The goal is to spread around donations to cover all areas of how cancer affects lives; from finding a cure and helping families, to preventative and early education. We cover everyone from kids to adults to support the fight. Within the last month of Faith & Hope being released, we have raised $2,000 in donations," says Tammy Jackson, owner of Liberty Wear.
As the Faith & Hope line continues to grow, Liberty Wear is closer to achieving its goal of $25,000 in donations.
