Life2, Inc. Forms Clinical Advisory Team
St. Simon's Island, GA (PRWEB) June 07, 2017 -- Life2, Inc., an innovator in healthcare analytics & clinical data services announced today the formation of its Clinical Advisory Team. The focus of the team will be to aid in the development of clinical interventions associated with the company’s Length of Stay Optimization Suite. This platform focuses on the myriad financial and operational risks facing all acute care hospitals.
Dr. Bellian stated: “Hospitals are looking for ways to make money, save money and improve outcomes. I have been impressed with how Life2 helps hospitals achieve these objectives with its transformative technology. At its core, the platform helps the hospital care team select actions that mitigate risks facing each individual patient every day. These actions can be process or procedure oriented as well as clinical actions. My focus will be to help the Life2 development team shape the clinical actions selection process. The result will be a robust repository that helps hospitals increase revenues and reduce costs on a daily, patient-by-patient basis. The end result is a consistent and sustainable reduction in Length of Stay and avoidable days while improving quality of care and outcomes.”
Life2’s Length of Stay Optimization Suite delivers new information hospitals do not have. It provides a prospective look into the future, a Daily Cycle of new insights: patient based stratification, causality, and selection of actionable interventions. The system uses an automated feedback loop for identifying which actions work and which ones do not. The platform provides these insights by enhancing existing management systems via the hospital’s normal workflow. These valuable insights unquestionably impact results.
Sam Wilkes, Founder and Chairman of Life2 stated: “We are excited to have Dr. Bellian help us launch our Clinical Advisory Team. Hospital executives have told us they are challenged to increase revenue and reduce expenses while improving outcomes. That pressure will only increase in the future. The cornerstone is our ability to deliver daily, patient-based insights that mitigate risk. Our ability to proactively provide both procedural and clinical insights based on deep data science places Life2 in a unique position to help hospitals. Dr. Bellian will be an instrumental leader in guiding our efforts to enhance this important aspect of our solution.”
