Lifelong Learner Vince Massop recevies Sarder Scholarship who loves computers & wants to better his life
New York, New York (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- Vince Massop, the October 2014 Sarder Scholarship winner, started his professional education in 2003 at the City College of Technology in the field of electrical engineering. Since then, Vince has been taking classes whenever time and finances allow, with the dream of a career in technology and engineering. With a family to support in difficult economic times, education has had to take a back seat to putting food on the table and providing a home for his family. In spite of difficulties, Vince has never given up on his dream of a career in IT and engineering, and looks forward to achieving an important certification in his field with the help of the Sarder scholarship, so he can begin his journey in IT. The Sarder Scholarship, created by Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning, is offered on a monthly basis and provides $2500 in IT training courses to worthy individuals. The Sarder Scholarship can be used toward most live online classes or traditional classroom training and represents Russell Sarder’s dedication to promoting education as a way to change a life.
“Vince Massop has the perseverance and the drive to achieve his goals in IT and we are happy to help him get started with training for NetCom Learning,” said Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning.
Vince Massop took a tour of NetCom Learning years ago and was excited about the possibilities of obtaining professional IT training but financing just wasn't there. After being encouraged to apply for a Sarder Scholarship, Massop is ready to take advantage of the opportunity to get training in the field he loves. Currently working as a Security Officer at a Verizon Data Center, Vince would look around at all the equipment and he found he had a real interest in knowing how these machines work. In his words, he wants “a career, not just a job where he can make his family proud and achieve his goal of becoming an information technology professional. He states that he wants to be able to diagnose, fix, and understand computers and software with confidence and expertise. According to Massop, the Sarder Scholarship makes him feel that he is truly on the path to success and will help him obtain the certifications he needs to get a position in the field of technology. He is grateful for the opportunity to make a change in his life and is determined to make his family, Russell Sarder and everyone involved with NetCom Learning proud.
The Sarder Scholarship is open to individuals of any background or skill level and can be used for any of the IT industry courses NetCom Learning provides. To find out more about the Sarder Scholarship visit here.
