NEWPORT BEACH, California (PRWEB) January 14, 2015 -- Kenmore ranks highest in trust among kitchen appliances according to Lifestory Research 2015 America’s Most Trusted TM study released today. Kenmore was the most trusted in all kitchen appliance product categories measured in the study including refrigerator, cooktop range, and dishwasher brands.

The study, in its inaugural year of measuring kitchen brand appliances, examines trust among residential customers actively shopping for a specific kitchen appliance. More than 10,000 consumers throughout the United States participated in the study in which they evaluated how much they trust 24 different kitchen appliance brands within each category measured.

“Trust is the new measure by which consumers evaluate the companies that serve them,” said Lifestory Research President and CEO Eric Snider. “Product manufactures have recognized the importance of gaining the trust of those that are shopping and using their products. Customers have told us that most kitchen appliances are likely to function and serve their needs, but when it comes to making purchase decisions, they seek out those brands that they trust.”

In the Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted TM Study, consumers indicated their level of trust among twenty-four refrigerator brands, twenty-four cooktop ranges brands, and twenty-four dishwasher brands. Trust was measured through the Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient Score. This score is based on the fundamental perspective that every organization’s customer can be divided into three categories: “advocates,” who feel a significant trust toward a given brand; “neutrals,” who trust a specific brand, but do not see a specific brand as standing on the shoulders of other brands in regards to trust; and “antagonists,” who are skeptics with little, if any, trust in a specific brand. Scores are standardized with 100 being equal to the overall average. Scores can array above and below the 100 point average.

America’s Most Trusted Refrigerator Brand

As the 2015 Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted TM Refrigerator Brand, Kenmore produced a Net Trust Quotient Score of 124.7. The other top 5 trusted refrigerator brands included in order (2) General Electric (117.8), (3) Frigidaire (117.4), (4) LG (114.3), and (5) Whirlpool (111.8).

America’s Most Trusted Cooktop Range Brand

As the 2015 Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted TM Cooktop Range Brand, Kenmore produced a Net Trust Quotient Score of 127.2. The other top 5 trusted refrigerator brands included in order (2) General Electric (126.5), (3) LG (113.1), (4) Whirlpool (107.0), and (5) KitchenAid (106.2).

America’s Most Trusted Dishwasher Brand

As the 2015 Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted TM Dishwasher brand, Kenmore produced a Net Trust Quotient Score of 124.2. The other top 5 trusted refrigerator brands included in order (2) Whirlpool (119.9), (3) General Electric (118.4), (4) LG (112.7), and (5) Maytag (111.3).
