By creating near real-time replication of an organization’s data with MIMIX software, customers can now perform data backups to LightEdge’s Power Cloud solution to offsite, secure LightEdge data centers. In order for an enterprise currently operating on IBM i to create a similar, highly reactive and efficient process, it would need to purchase and co-locate an additional IBM Power Server. The Vision Solutions MIMIX and LightEdge Power Cloud solution eliminates the cost of acquiring a second AS400 assigned solely to disaster recovery.
