Lighting Company Cocoweb Announces Line of New Battery-Operated Picture Lights
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) March 20, 2015 -- Lighting industry luminaries at Cocoweb recently unveiled the latest renovation to their Tru-Slim and Classic lines of art-centric LED picture lighting. Available March 30, 2015, these battery-operated picture lights promise highly stylized art lighting with the versatility and convenience of a fully cordless design.
Contemporary Display Lighting
Cocoweb’s picture lights serve first and foremost as an unobtrusive aid to displaying artwork. The frames, whether of the Tru-Slim or the Classic, have a clean finish in order to preserve the scene of artistic displays rather than distract from them with unnecessary ornamentation. The Tru-Slim offers a sleeker, more modern aesthetic with its unique tube frame, while the Classic evokes a more vintage design with its elegant rounded shade. In addition, both of these lamps are available in rich oil-rubbed bronze, cool satin nickel, and elegant antique brass, and a wide range of colors ensuring that one’s artwork is always met by a complementary shade.
Art Accentuation
The multiple LEDs of these lamps look to be the source of brilliant art lighting. Low voltage nodes produce light with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) over 90 and therefore grant a richer fullness to the entire color palette of reds and blues. These lights are also rated with a color temperature of 2700 Kelvins, a naturally warming illumination akin to the early morning sun. In addition, Cocoweb LEDs are purported to preserve painted artwork through low heat and ultraviolet-free operation.
Battery Power
In a play for increased versatility, Cocoweb has fitted its Tru-Slim and Classic art lights to run solely on battery power. This cordless design allows for the light’s placement away from junction boxes and electrical outlets, removing the spatial limitations in one’s gallery. The Tru-Slim comes in both small and large sizes, measured at either 12 or 21 inches, and requires 8 C-cell batteries to function. The Classic is offered only as a 14 inch model, however this smaller size means that it may operate on as few as 4 C-cell batteries. Additionally, the LED nodes in both the Tru-Slim and the Classic are tested to last up to 50,000 hours, and each light also includes a remote control for adjustment anywhere within 30 feet. A timer of up to 6 hours is also enabled by the remote, as well as adjustable brightness settings from 10% to 100%.
