Link Labs Announces Global Distribution Agreement with Future Electronics
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) August 19, 2015 -- Link Labs, a leading innovator in low-power, wide-area (LPWA) network technologies for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced today an agreement with Future Electronics to provide global distribution of its Symphony Link line of modules and gateways.
Link Labs’ Symphony Link products offers a complete line of transceiver modules, repeaters, gateways and base stations. These devices are FCC certified for operation in the 915 MHz ISM band and ETSI certified for use in the 868 MHz band but are capable of licensed or unlicensed deployment from 137 MHz-1020 MHz.
The line features a low and high power module, repeaters, a single-channel gateway, an 8-channel gateway (indoor and outdoor versions) as well as a 24- and 64-channel base station. The breadth of this product line allows developers to quickly bring long-range communications to their devices and network operators to cost effectively cover cities and regions with a range of base stations and repeater technologies. All of these support the LoRa™ networking protocol, LoRaWAN, as well as the Symphony Link protocol which adds features such as over the air upgrades, quality of service tiers, multicasting and many additional premium features not currently available in LoRaWAN.
“We are excited to announce that our first major distribution agreement is with Future Electronics. They have the global reach and exceptional logistics capabilities to make it easier for new customers around the world to learn about and get access to our products, and allows us to better support the tremendous interest we have in LPWA networks” said VP of Business Development and Marketing Bryan M. Eagle III.
“Future Connectivity Solutions (FCS) is very excited to add Link Labs to our line card in support of the new, differentiated long range LoRaTM based wireless technology. Link Labs’ suite of hardware and software solutions will allow FCS to provide a complete end-to-end solution to our customers for their long range IoT applications” says Kelly Murphy, Director Marketing, Future Connectivity Solutions.
