Linket CEO to speak at DevFest Los Angeles 2017 about branding and blockchains for mobile users
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) October 19, 2017 -- Linket CEO Wes Boudville will explain how mobile users can own brands ("Linkets") for personal or professional use. These are akin to web domains. A brand owner can have her own gig, using various 3rd party apps. Her users connect to her by clicking her Linket. They interact with her via an app that she has picked. For example, she could be a high school tutor. Her students would be anywhere in the world.
Or she is a gamer, wanting to make money. Spectators click her Linket to watch her play. Or they pay to play her. Game companies get more downloads and use of their games. The spectator interaction removes Twitch as a middleman. A spectator watches thru an instance of the game downloaded to his device. The game can show him ads or offer a subscription (to avoid ads). He is a customer of the game and not of Twitch or those of its ilk.
Wes will talk at the Google Developer Group Los Angeles' annual DevFest on Nov 4 2017.
(https://devfest2017.gdgla.org). He spoke at DevFest 2016 on "Deep links for mobile users". This year's talk is a sequel.
He will describe how blockchains can be used with data generated from the interactions to make a verified social network. Using a recently granted US patent 9792101, "Capacity and automated de-install of linket mobile apps with deep links".
Attendees of DevFest can each get a free Linket. They can also refer the offer to their friends. For each friend who signs up for a free Linket, the referrer can get a free Linket.
GDGLA is a pre-eminent programmer association in Los Angeles. It is independent of Google. GDGLA has conducted numerous events over 4 years. It is ably led by Matt Kaufman of MK Partners. (http://www.mkpartners.com)
Wes says, "I thank Matt Kaufman and GDGLA for letting me present at DevFest. Without Matt there would be no DevFest. Linket is gratified to be one of the sponsors of DevFest".
