Linsey Deverich embarks on new book marketing campaign
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- In 2014, author Linsey Deverich launched her memoir, “Wandering Through La La Land with the Last Warner Brother” (published by AuthorHouse), the untold true story of her long-time relationship and engagement to Jack L. Warner. Now Deverich is refocusing her efforts for a new marketing campaign for the memoir.
“This is a collection of memories that cover a major part of what started out as a very ordinary life,” Deverich says. “But somehow, and certainly not by design, it became a life filled with extraordinary people and memorable experiences.”
Deverich describes how she first met Jack. She was only six years old but he was a grown man. She then relates meeting him again, three decades later. He became the most important person in my life,” she writes. “Being a very private man, Jack Warner never sought publicity or recognition for his accomplishments. … From the beginning, Jack’s only interest was in making motion pictures. He was the creative talent of the Warner Brothers.”
The book also highlights Deverich’s friendships with such recognizable names as Fredrick Loewe, Fred Zinneman, Winthrop Rockefeller, Arthur Godfrey, Frank Sinatra and Dr. Jonas Salk.
After many successful ventures in 2014, including a stop at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Deverich hopes to make even bigger gains in 2015.
