Lisa Groesz Named Clinical Director of Castlewood at Monarch Cove.
St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) December 16, 2015 -- Castlewood Treatment Centers seeks to provide each of its clients not just with compassion, but with clinical care—an approach to eating disorder recovery that goes beyond medical and nutritional stabilization. As such, Castlewood takes tremendous pride in its robust clinical staff. The latest addition to this staff is Dr. Lisa Groesz, who has joined the Castlewood team as Clinical Director at the Monarch Cove location.
In this position, Dr. Groesz will oversee all clinical components at Castlewood’s California location—coordinating and training the clinical staff and providing direction for Castlewood’s broad, expansive clinical outreach. In addition, she will ensure that all facilities comply with Joint Commission and state standards.
“Castlewood is committed to the continued development of our clinical programs and providing truly transformational treatment to our clients,” comments Nancy Albus, Castlewood’s Chief Executive Officer. “Dr. Groesz has demonstrated excellent clinical and leadership skills as the Program Director of PHP/IOP and we are excited to put her strengths to work as the new Clinical Director at Monarch Cove.”
Dr. Groesz is a fairly new face within the Castlewood family, joining the Monarch Cove location earlier this year as Program Director for PHP and IOP. Before coming to Castlewood, she managed a clinical practice in San Francisco, working with clients in the grip of addiction, substance abuse, mood and anxiety disorders, as well as eating disorders. Dr. Groesz has also worked for the Center for Discovery, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
She has a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, and has worked extensively in the field of eating disorder treatment—authoring several peer-reviewed journal articles on the topic.
