Lisa M. Nyuli Announces Candidacy for 3rd Vice President of the Illinois State Bar Association
South Elgin, IL (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- Illinois Attorney Lisa M. Nyuli is pleased to announce her candidacy for the position of 3rd Vice President of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). Nyuli has served as an active member of the Association for over 25 years. She is currently an assembly member and holds a position on the Illinois Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors, where she also serves as vice chair and is a member of The Fellows Program. In 2014, she served as the Association’s treasurer. Nyuli is also a frequent presenter for ISBA continuing legal education seminars and events across the state.
Nyuli is a partner at the law firm of Ariano Hardy Ritt Nyuli Richmond Lytle & Goettel P.C. located in South Elgin, Illinois. Nyuli holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1986), and a J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law (1989). Her legal practice is primarily focused on family law, and she is a certified guardian ad litem.
Nyuli is a past president of the Kane County Bar Association (KCBA) and Kane County Bar Foundation. In 2003, she received the Family Law Achievement Award from the Association’s Family Law Committee. During her service with the KCBA, she was also fundamental in the establishment of the Children’s Waiting Room in the Kane County Judicial Center.
Nyuli is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Additionally, she was named a 2016 Illinois Leading Lawyer, and she has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer for six consecutive years since 2012. Nyuli is also a “Top Rated Divorce Attorney” on AVVO based on exceptional peer endorsements and client reviews. In 2005, the Northern Illinois University College of Law Alumni Council named Nyuli, “Alumnus of the Year”.
Beyond her legal practice, Nyuli contributes to the local community through numerous volunteer initiatives. She is a volunteer attorney for Administer Justice and Prairie State Legal Services. She also volunteers with Family Counseling Services, YWCA Legal Aid, and Joseph Corporation located in West Suburban Aurora, Illinois. In Kane County, Nyuli is a member of the St. Charles Breakfast Rotary Club.
