LISI, INC., Teams With Covered California to Extend Coverage to Small Businesses
San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- LISI, Inc., (LISI), a leading General Agent (GA) serving the broker community for more than 30 years, announced today that they have signed an agreement to partner with Covered California to assist in extending medical coverage to small businesses with 1-50 lives in California. This arrangement will assist in providing coverage to more than five million Californians. “We are extremely proud to be a part of this effort. LISI will have the distinctive ability to provide quoting and comparisons for carriers and plans both inside and outside of the Small Business Health Option Program (SHOP). Quoting availability is expected as of October 1, 2013 for quote effective dates beginning January 1, 2014. In addition to quoting, LISI will provide real-time online enrollment and agent training.
