Live Pipe Bursting with TRIC at 1st Annual (WWETT) Water and Wastewater Equipment and Show in Indianapolis, Indiana
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- TRIC Tools, Inc. was a Featured Exhibitor at the 1st Annual (WWETT) Water and Wastewater, Equipment, Treatment and Transport Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. Representing TRIC at the event were Sales Director Gregg Abbott, Marketing & Training Director John Rafferty, Sales Executive Jay Battin and Operations Director Michael Lien. Education Day and Exhibitor setup started on February 23rd and the show ran through February 26th. TRIC showcased its X30 Lateral and M50 Municipal Pipe Bursting equipment and provided "Live" pipe burst demonstrations. On 2/24 and 2/25, former Maryland Public Works Director Matt Lapinsky joined the TRIC booth. While there, Lapinsky said, "At Aberdeen, MD, we looked at all the pipe bursting manufacturers and felt that TRIC provided the best ROI."
During this year's event, TRIC’s Michael Lien and John Rafferty participated in the Lateral Pipe Bursting meetings on Monday, February 24th and 25th. Lateral Pipe Bursting Chairman John Galligan of Pipeshark, Inc. and IPBA Vice Chair Matt Timberlake of Ted Berry Company hosted the meetings. During the meeting, participants ironed out changes in the Guideline for Sewer Lateral Pipe Bursting. This Guideline will be released at the March 2015 No Dig Show in Denver. Other meeting attendees were lateral pipe bursting contractors: Utah Pipebursting’s Jay Garrett, All County Sewer & Drain’s Ron Fiorelli and Thomas Fuccello; and Underground Connections, Inc.’s Tom Carlisle and Scott Sauerbre. Representing Municipalities were Mike McCloud and Al Mackey, City of Columbus, OH and Matt Lapinsky former City of Aberdeen, MD Public Works Director. TRIC was the only pipe burst manufacturer participating with Michael Lien and John Rafferty attending. WWETT had a number of post tradeshow events enjoyed by attendees. Jack Doheny hosted a party at Lucas Oil Stadium on Tuesday night with complimentary food and drink for participants. The “Flying Toasters” played every conceivable music genre the audience craved for. "The event was a memorable highlight to the evening and a number of the guests could be found dancing in the aisles," remarked TRIC's Jay Battin. The following night Cole Swindell played for at Cole Publishing’s annual WWETT appreciation night. After the show closed, TRIC personnel enjoyed a night of Salsa dancing near Butler University.
