Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee Wins Roasting Awards
Ketchum, Id (PRWEB) September 28, 2017 -- Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee, one of Idaho’s top coffee roasters, today announced awards in the 2017 Golden Bean North America Coffee Roasting Competition.
As an online coffee retailer and wholesale supplier, Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee focuses on selecting and roasting some of the world’s best coffees. The Golden Bean is the world’s largest coffee roaster competition, with the event running over ten years in Australia, and now in its third competition year in North America. Coffees from top roasters in the US and Canada were submitted for judging in various categories.
Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee received honors in two categories.
Silver Medal: Sunriser- Milk Based Category (latte)
Bronze Medal: Ethiopia Kore- Pour Over Filter Category

This is the second year that Lizzy’s has earned recognition, previously winning a bronze medal in the 2016 Golden Bean competition. This year’s winning roasts highlight the roasting skill with two distinct coffees. The Sunriser is a medium-dark roast blend of coffees from Ethiopia, Brazil and Colombia, and boasts blueberry and cocoa notes. The Ethiopia Kore is one of Lizzy’s limited edition offerings from the Kuchere District, Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. The coffee is medium roast with beautiful lemon, cherry and floral notes.
