LMT Awarded Contract To Train Next Generation of Military Media Specialists

Vienna, VA (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- LMT is pleased to announce its most recent contract award, in partnership with Lewis-Price & Associates, Inc., to train military media specialists at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) in Fort Meade, Md.

A component of the Defense Media Activity (DMA), DINFOS has a long-standing mission of producing outstanding Public Affairs and Visual Information personnel for all military services.

LMT and Lewis-Price will provide instructors for the following DINFOS departments:

When Lewis-Price was named the prime contractor, there was no question about who to partner with on the project, said Ken Coleman, President and Founder of Lewis-Price.

Coleman, who has worked alongside LMT since 2008, noted the success of LMT's team, which has supported a wide variety of federal government contracts globally with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Lewis-Price, which received 8(a) status in 2011 as a small, disadvantaged firm, provides, among other services, accounting, staffing, human resources and budget analysis for corporate and federal government clients, like the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir.

“We do have core capabilities at Lewis-Price,” Coleman said. “But more than that, we have integrity in our people. We are committed to developing strong teams that are committed themselves to making sure our client’s mission is fulfilled, from the budget analysis we do to providing key experts to train the next generation of media specialists for the military.”
