Local Hospital Charity Gets a Funding Boost by Coventry Building Society

(PRWEB UK) 13 August 2013 -- Friends of Lydney Hospital has received £899 from Coventry Building Society to fund specialist equipment to help care for patients.

Friends of Lydney Hospital has raised over £1m since 1969 to provide equipment for the hospital and comforts for its patients. Coventry Building Society has been supporting and fundraising for the charity for 13 years.

Tony Midgley, Friends of Lydney Hospital, says; “We are absolutely delighted. We will now be able to purchase a bariatric chair, a specialist piece of equipment. This will ensure that the hospital are able to provide the same high standard of comfort and care for all patients.”

Amanda Bennett, Coventry Building Society, says; “I am so pleased to have worked with Friends of Lydney Hospital over the years, and to be able to give them the money for this much needed piece of equipment is fantastic.”
