Local Law Firm Helps Feed Needy LI Families at Upcoming 8th Annual Cops Who Care Food Drive
Sayville, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- Once again the Suffolk County Police and the New York State Police departments are teaming up to help feed needy families during the holiday season by giving free hams and turkeys. The 8th Annual "Cops Who Care" Food Drive is planned for December 22, 2015 between 1-2pm at 1st Baptist Church in Bay Shore.
The Sayville based law firm of Gacovino & Lake will once again be donating hundreds of turkeys as well as contributing additional funds based on their public response promoting hunger awareness on Long Island via their social media outreach to Long Island communities. The purpose of their social media efforts is to build hunger awareness and help raise more funds as Gacovino & Lake will be donating an additional dollar for every Facebook page like and share as well as for any new twitter follower and retweet. This extra effort on social media helps bring attention to a great cause working together with the police departments and the community.
In the past years, the annual Cops Who Care event has involved local politicians, officials and media to raise a higher profile to this cause bridging relations between the police and the public during strained times in New York. This upcoming event will once again have a strong presence and prove that these cops and Gacovino & Lake truly do care.
