Local Ticket Retailer Treating Grieving Families to Some UConn Huskies Football
East Hartford, CT (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- EasySeat Tickets, the Plainville, CT online ticket reseller, has donated over 200 tickets for the upcoming UConn Huskies vs. Towson Tigers football game to The Cove Center For Grieving Children. A keystone sponsor of The Cove's new Fairfield County site serving the children and families of Newtown, EasySeat is providing a welcome respite for current and former Cove families, its volunteers, staff, and donors.
"As a new father, this is a cause near and dear to my heart," says EasySeat Founder & CEO, David Evans, who is no stranger to tragedy, having lost his father at the age of seventeen.
"Being able to be part of the launch of the Fairfield County Cove site, and even just providing some time away for our Cove families to attend a football game, it's part of who I am and part of the DNA of our company," says Evans, who hopes that the event itself will draw attention to The Cove's mission and attract additional supporters looking to help families facing tragic and often sudden loss.

Kickoff for the Huskies and Tigers is at 7:30 PM, Thursday, August 29th, at Uconn's Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT, and EasySeat will be hosting a pre-game tailgate starting at 4:30PM for Cove families, donors, and volunteers.
The Cove Center For Grieving Children is a volunteer-driven program developed by the New England Center for Loss and Transition. It was founded in Guilford in 1995 and has grown to the largest multi-site grief program in the Northeast. The Cove Center For Grieving Children also provides professional development for teachers, therapists, hospice workers, and other professionals who work directly with children grieving a loss.
