LockState Announces Entering Internet of Things Partnership with Kozo Keikaku Engineering
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) November 30, 2015 -- LockState announced today that they have entered a partnership with Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc. (KKE) in order to jointly develop Internet of Things (IoT) applications for the North America, Southeast Asia and Japanese markets. The partners will create cloud-based and smartphone applications which will combine data from Internet-connected sensors, such as motion detectors with controllable devices like door locks, which will solve problems for customers in the vacation rental, property management and healthcare markets.
The joint development efforts will leverage KKE’s depth of technical expertise and extensive industrial knowledge and relationships throughout Japan, Southeast Asia and the United States; and LockState’s IoT platform of connected devices, including: smart locks, motions sensors, power plugs, window sensors, and more. Additionally, KKE will contribute $1M to LockState in the deal.

The announcement comes on the heels of LockState’s recent partnership with Airbnb to provide access control solutions through its smart locks. RemoteLock 6i is the new commercial WiFi keypad smart lock developed for property managers to monitor and manage security.
