Loffler Companies Chosen as “Long-Term Achievement” Community Impact Award Finalist by Minnesota Business Magazine
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- Loffler Companies, the Upper Midwest’s leader in providing integrated business technology and services, has been recognized by Minnesota Business magazine as a Community Impact Award finalist for “Long-Term Achievement”. Loffler is one of three finalists in the category recognizing a Minnesota-based company for demonstrating a long-term commitment (at least 10 years) to positively impacting the state’s community of nonprofits or other worthy causes. The winner will be announced at an awards gala on February 25, 2016 at Aria in downtown Minneapolis, and be profiled in the March issue of Minnesota Business magazine.
From the day Loffler Companies began in October 1986, Jim Loffler, President and CEO, believed strongly that “to whom much is given, much is expected.” Because of that firm conviction, he made it a part of Loffler Companies’ mission statement which states, “The foundation of our success is based on exceeding the expectations of our clients, employees, partners and community.” Loffler’s involvement in community and charitable activities grew over the years to the point they were honored in 2012 with a Jefferson Award for Public Service. As community involvement remained at the forefront of Jim’s vision for his company, in 2015 he appointed a Community Connection Director to conceptualize, develop and facilitate projects related to Loffler’s commitment to the community and being a valued neighbor in the communities Loffler serves.
Among the organizations Loffler impacts in the community through donations of time and money include VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People), Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, Memorial Blood Centers (employees donate blood onsite every six–seven weeks), Meals on Wheels, Vikings Children’s Fund, the Ronald McDonald House and many more. Employees also participate in the Remax Breast Cancer Bike Ride, and internal fundraisers for co-workers in crisis or experiencing trying times in their lives.
“We are excited and humbled to be recognized by Minnesota Business magazine as a “Long-Term Achievement” finalist for the Community Impact Awards,” said Jim Loffler, President and CEO of Loffler Companies. “With so many worthy organizations in need of our time and financial donations, we are strengthening our connection to the community through food and clothing drives, helping feed the hungry, participating in client fundraising events and so much more.”
As a testament to the healthy, fulfilling workplace at Loffler, employees voted Loffler as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” in a Minnesota Business magazine survey for the past four years, and a “Top Workplace” in a Star Tribune survey for the past five years. The fact that people like to work at Loffler and for a company whose employees give back enhances job satisfaction and attracts the best and brightest employees, which makes Loffler a stronger, better and healthier workplace.
