Log Home Engineering Company, Panel Concepts Relocates West Under New Ownership
Gold Creek, MT (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Commonly regarded as “The Small Cottage Company”, Panel Concepts and its previous owners formally announced the sale of the company on Nov. 11, 2013. Now under the ownership of Peter Miller, Panel Concepts has been relocated from Fairview, MI to Gold Creek, MT and is officially accepting orders as of the first of the year.
When Miller had first heard that previous owner, John Gascho was selling the business, he became immediately interested in its potential. Having personally known Gascho while living in Michigan some years prior, Miller quickly decided to take a trip out to look at his facility and manufacturing plan.
“The work that Panel Concepts was involved with had a lot to do with the business that we had been conducting previously in construction,” said Miller. “It just fit the bill for what we’d like to become more involved with in the future – getting away from conventional stick-built homes and getting more into custom log homes.”
Miller and his team are also confident that Panel Concepts’ new position in Montana will be better in terms of serving the company’s overall purpose. As the log home style is seemingly rooted in western culture, they hope to really see business start to move and take off on the west coast.
All aspects of the business will remain the same in terms of products sold, services and their prices. The only thing that Miller would like to inform all loyal Panel Concepts customers about is the fact that the shipping cost will be altered on new orders. Now that the business is no longer operating in Michigan, the preferred shipping method of the new owners and Montana is FOB, which means that the buyer is responsible for paying the transportation fees of the goods being shipped. However, all other costs will go unaffected under the new ownership.

Giving you the flexibility to design your building with a specific use in mind, Panel Concepts began the business of do-it-yourself log cabins in 1996. It has since grown to offer a wide range of panelized cabins for all seasons and will continue to grow and maintain its stellar reputation under its new ownership.
