London Art Walls to Bring Global-Brand Advertising to More Walls Worldwide
Shoreditch, London / Santa Cruz, California (PRWEB) April 28, 2015 -- Today, California-based London Art Walls, the people behind the hugely successful Shoreditch Art Wall, have announced they are seeking other walls in high traffic areas worldwide for global-brand advertising and Art and Community projects. Their first endeavor, the Shoreditch Art Wall (SAW), on Great Eastern Street in London's fashionable Shoreditch, has a global online following, because they keep the wall exciting and relevant and are looking to expand and manage other walls, on a profit-share basis.
Giving a wall a dedicated purpose discourages tagging and unwanted graffiti, which can contribute to an area becoming derelict and abandoned. A wall displaying great artwork, whether it's in the form of advertising, community messaging, charity events or work done by artists from around the world, brings people in and can help transform a problematic locale into a contemporary hot-spot, fit for being included in one of the world's many art walks.
Peter Mackeonis, Manager of London Art Walls, comments, “We have had a lot of fun working in Shoreditch, with global advertisers and first-rate artists from around the world, and being a part of its transition, and we look forward to doing the same worldwide.”
The Shoreditch Art Wall advertisers have included: Adidas, Atlantic Records, Beck's Beer, Ben Sherman, Burberry, Chambord, Columbia Records, Disney, 20th Century Fox, Gin in Teacups, Grolsch, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jamieson's Bourbon, Johnnie Walker, Namco Bandai, Nike, O2, Oakley, Paramount, Pilsner Urquell, Printemps, Shinola, Sperry, Telefonica and Wrigley.
The charity/community events London Art Walls have hosted on SAW, many of which have been featured on CNN, include: The Prince's Trust 'At Risk Youth Program,' Peter Gabriel's 'Witness,' 'What Are You Grateful For,' 'Lord Michael Bates', 'Walk for Truce,' Baroness Grey-Thompson's 'Access All Areas,' 'International Peace Day' and 'Give Rings the Finger,' in addition to, several wedding proposals.
London Art Walls would like to hear from anyone with a wall of any size, in any locale, whether it's currently being used for advertising or not, to discuss how they can become a London Art Walls partner. The London Art Walls team will build, manage and promote an elegant informational website for each wall it manages, headed with the London Art Walls logo. The website will include photos of the wall, details of its size, rental fees and regularly updated photos of all advertising, artist's work and community/charity events. They will also take care of any local authority permission needed for every event on the wall.
