Lone Star Awarded Naval Sea Logistics Center Contract
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Lone Star Analysis, internationally recognized for its unique enhanced decision analytics support, business modeling and simulation, and a provider of executive advisory services, announces it has been awarded a contract from the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN) to assist in supply chain analysis.
The objective of this project is to assist NAVSEALOGCEN in improving their support to NAVSEA and other acquisition stakeholders with recommendations on integrated product support decisions that reduce total lifecycle costs and meet operational readiness goals. Those goals include: 1) Developing the sustainment supply chain framework to support NAVSEA enterprise decision making using the Lone Star Influence Diagram, and 2) Ensuring alignment of the organizational, functional, financial, and temporal elements comprising NAVSEA systems program total lifecycle.
Lone Star is providing their expertise in systems logistics combined with a unique 4th generation modeling and simulation (M&S) capability. This is a significant departure from limited, older methods previously used to support logistics investment decisions.
