Long Beach Architecture Firm Uses Office to Test Design Products
Long Beach, Ca (PRWEB) January 31, 2017 -- M. Grisafe Architects, a residential and commercial architecture firm in Long Beach, California, announced recently that the company is updating its office space. In addition to making the Long Beach office more contemporary and functional, the company is also using the remodel as an opportunity to test several new products on the market, in order to determine if they are worth recommending to their clients for use in their own homes or workplaces.
On the floors of the architecture firm’s updated office space are carpet squares by Mohawk Flooring. These particular carpet squares have the visual look of industrial concrete floors, while still having the soft feel of carpeting underfoot. They also have the advantage of being easily replaceable should one or more of the squares become damaged.
Another architectural feature in the new office is a sliding barn door, with hardware provided by Eclisse, a company that is most well known for manufacturing pocket door hardware. TruStile, a custom door company, provided the office space with bi-fold closet doors, and the paint throughout the office was provided by Dunn-Edwards. Dunn-Edwards is known for interior paint that is environmentally friendly, and free of any Toxic Air Contaminants (TAC) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP), a characteristic that is important to many of M. Grisafe’s clients.
Mark Grisafe, architect and owner of M. Grisafe Architects, had this to say about their reasons for wanting to test out products in their own office space, “We want to make sure that we only recommend high-quality products to our clients, and the best way to test them out is to use them on a daily basis to see how they perform in real-life circumstances. Basically, we’re giving these products a trial run for our clients.”
Grisafe continued, “We hope our office space can also serve as inspiration for potential tenant improvement clients that visit our Long Beach architecture firm. We don’t have a showroom, so having a well-outfitted and well-designed office space is the next best thing. So far, we’ve been very impressed with all of the products we’ve had installed, and look forward to seeing how they hold up over time and through everyday use.”
M. Grisafe Architect is committed to offering full-service architectural design, which includes recommendations on finishes like flooring, paint, and doors.
