Long Distance Runner to Cross America Live on Hang w/
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Hang w/, the live-streaming video social media platform announced today that long distance runner, Anna Judd, will run across America in 100 days and share her cross-country adventure live exclusively on the Hang w/ platform.
The Run Across America launches on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 10 am in Venice Beach, California and is planned to conclude on June 28, 2014 at the Freedom Tower in New York City. Anna will broadcast at 6 am, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 1 pm each day while she makes her way across the Nation.
The Hang w/ app allows users to “hang with” each other via live streaming video and simultaneous chat. Users can follow Anna in the application, and each time Anna broadcasts live, users will receive a notification that “AnnaRunsAmerica wants to Hang w/ you.” Users who tune in can view Anna in live streaming video and communicate with her through live chat.

Already, Anna’s run has brought forth support from many military groups and organizations. In Arizona, Anna will be joined by a local SWAT team. In Texas, a group of Navy Seals have agreed to join Anna on her run. And across the U.S., 17 Chapters of Team RWB (Team Red White and Blue) will join Anna for legs of her run. Team RWB is a national organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
