Look. Walls & Interiors Releases ‘Wild Things’ Wallcovering Collection by Ferdinand Ink
DALLAS (PRWEB) October 17, 2017 -- On a mission to transform the wall into art, Look. Walls & Interiors today announced “Wild Things” by artist Ferdinand van Alphen, a new wallcovering collection of quirky animal sketches featured on a playful color palette.
“Wild Things” is a collaboration between Look owner Lindsay White and witty artist van Alphen. The two conceived the idea for this bold, spunky wallcovering through their shared love of animals.
“Ferdinand is known in the design industry for his funny and witty art, which often feature animals,” White explained. “When I fell in love with his work, I was coincidentally toying with the idea of an animal-inspired collection to showcase Look’s bold and playful side. Ferdinand and I quickly hit it off, and he created a crew of animals that I adore.”
“Wild Things” designs include Panther Prowl, Wise Old Owl, Silent Sea Horse, Panda Pounce, Creeping Croc and Polka Dot Trot, which can be printed on an Orange, Pink, Yellow, Midnight Navy or Emerald background. Printed on Look’s Resilience textile, the shimmer adds another layer of charm to the bold designs.
Look. Walls & Interiors uses state-of-the-art printing technology to capture unique design details and textures. The ability to scale the design up or down allows designers to either emphasize the detail of the animal sketch or create interest through a tile of many small versions of the animal.
“Any of the ‘Wild Things’ prints would make a statement in a vestibule or other space where it can really shine,” White said. “I picked the pink just for fun and the yellow and orange to provide a bold punch of color and then the navy and green because they’ll look good in any space.”
