Los Angeles Clippers Star Matt Barnes To Host “Ribbon In The Sky” Toy & Sneaker Drive At Skybar Los Angeles Sunday December 7th
Los Angeles CA (PRWEB) November 27, 2014 -- Now in its 13th year, the “Ribbon In The Sky” toy drive will once again bring holiday cheer to Los Angeles and beyond, from the Skybar Lounge at the Mondrian in West Hollywood Sunday December 7, 2014 at 6:30pm.
This year, the drive teams up with Athletes Vs. Cancer founded by NBA star Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Clippers. "Ribbon In The Sky" also expands to include a sneaker drive as well as the yearly toy drive—another first for the festivities.
Barnes will personally host the proceedings. He founded Athletes Vs. Cancer in 2008 in order to urge for awareness and funds for cancer screenings. This organization emphasizes finding cancer early to properly fight it, while working towards a cure. It's very close to Barnes' heart, and it's helping fuel this year's "Ribbon In The Sky" event.
