Los Cucos Sponsors HFD’s Operation: Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive
Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- Los Cucos Mexican Café is sponsoring the Houston Fire Department’s Operation: Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive. Boxes will be placed at selected Houston area Los Cucos restaurants for customers to donate a new or gently used toy for thousands of area families in need. The kick off event is Friday, November 22nd at Houston Fire Department Station 37, located at 7026 Stella Link, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Gifts for all ages, including teens are needed. Clothes are not being accepted. The last day to donate is Wednesday, December 18th.
Once all the toys have been gathered the Houston Fire Department will host the “The Great Toy Giveaway” on Friday, December 20th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the New Light Christian Center, located at 7317 East Houston Rd. Toys will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis. Families will need to bring a valid ID. Los Cucos will be providing their authentic Mexican food for both the launch event and the distribution in December. KPRC-TV Channel 2 will be on location for both events to help bring attention to this great cause.
