Louisiana Comic Con Coming to Bossier City on Saturday, Feb. 21
Shreveport, LA (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- The first-ever Louisiana Comic Con will be held at the Bossier Civic Center in Bossier City, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21. Admission is $10 and advance tickets are now available at http://www.louisianacomiccon.com. Ages 10 and under will be admitted free with a paid adult admission. Louisiana Comic Con, a production of AVC Conventions, will feature celebrity guests from the worlds of comics, film and television, as well as artists, vendors, fan groups and more.
Celebrity guests scheduled to attend include Theodus Crane (AMC’s The Walking Dead), Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story, The Toy), pro wrestling legend Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Anime star Trina Nishimura (Attack on Titan, Desert Punk) and Bela, a screen-used 1967 Chevrolet Impala from the popular television series Supernatural. Illustrators scheduled to attend include Sam de la Rosa (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America), Brian Steward (Fangoria), Kody Chamberlain (30 Days of Night, Punks: The Comic, Sweets), Rob Guillory (Image Comics’ CHEW) and more. Other guests will include well-known cosplay performers and costumed Star Wars fan groups.
In addition to special guests, the convention will feature vendors selling everything from comic books and original artwork to fan-oriented clothing, costumes and accessories. Fans of all ages are invited to come in costume as their favorite character and participate in the costume contest.
