Lourdes Duque Baron Takes Flight with 'Back to Romance'
Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) September 28, 2016 -- The 60-something singer teamed up once again with Billboard Awards winning producer Andrew Lane, of Drew Right Music – and together the gang has created a provocative period piece paying homage to all things jazz and music respectively.
With now three albums under her belt – Lourdes Duque Baron presents to the world her most ambitious CD, 'Back to Romance'. The multifaceted entertainer is caught winning in swinging form, while staying true to her signature style. Enchanting all with an ear to hear.
The eagerly anticipated junior album from the Filipino born singer-songwriter is a collection of songs which showcase the growth of this incredible artist, who continues to inspire music lovers worldwide.
Back to Romance is a simmering adrenaline-charged shot of jazz and pure soul that proves once and for all that age is nothing but a digit. Talent, passion and reverence, apparently trumps all – and a phenomenal, inspiring entertainer – 3 years shy of 70 has to account for something momentous.
As to which celebrated musicians she would love to collaborate with, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been inspirited by Barry Gibb and Stevie Wonder. There is something about these singers that has always resonated with me. I would love the opportunity to collaborate with either one of them!”
Baron delivers tracks that reel in music lovers young & old — and you can bet your bottom dollar – long after the buzz subsides this Back to Romance crooner…will still be a prize.
When asked, how music helps to inspire her, in turn – inspiring the masses of music lovers that follows her – she notes,” I have some FB friends who shared that I do inspire them. I tell them to follow their dreams, no matter what! Music sets the mood in every situation. I like to listen to specific songs while I do specific work. My autistic son Gregg, died last year. He was aphasic for 8 years and his first word was Elvis. Gregg was and probably still is the undisputed number one fan of Elvis! He would listen to Elvis every day. Sadly, the music stopped after he died. I was depressed for a while. Then one day I discovered a way to console myself --- by listening to Elvis' songs! It did and still does make me feel as if my Gregg is still here, close by...with us all. I just know that the world is colorless without music. This is why I continue, this is why I sing.”
Mrs. Baron is a testament to the songbird embracing spirit, willingly allowing herself to be inspired enough to create something a little different, with the hopes of changing the world.
“The only thing that is endless in life is your imagination,” she added.
