When the seemingly non-grieving widow shows up to collect her dead husband’s possessions, rumors arise. Local authorities are swamped by many willing to kill for a chance at the gold and Aborigines are on a rampage because strangers enter their forbidden territory.

About the Author
David Scott operated cinemas and drive-in theatres in the Murray Valley and Riverina regions of Australia, later founding a thoroughbred horse stud. His life took a sharp turn after he was revived when he stopped breathing during an asthma attack. Writing filled his long recuperation, becoming an integral part of his life. He now lives in Queensland’s Gold Coast hinterland, where he is a celebrated, award-winning playwright and novelist.
