LPL Financial Marks Milestone with Millionth Trade on its Enhanced Trading and Rebalancing (ET&R) Platform
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 27, 2014 -- LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, an RIA custodian, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of LPL Financial Holdings Inc., announced a milestone today: One million trades have been executed on its Enhanced Trading and Rebalancing (ET&R) platform, less than six months after the platform’s national rollout.
LPL’s new trading platform features high-quality tools that are fully integrated with the rebalancing platform, enabling advisors to seamlessly perform a range of trading and rebalancing activities for any number of securities, client portfolios and accounts. The platform features block trading capabilities that calculate average prices allocations and trailing stop orders to help protect market gains while managing downside risk. This technology offers advisors significant time savings, allowing them to focus on what really matters – their clients.
