An associate with Lucas Group since 2012, Johnson’s contributions in his first two years at the firm have allowed the Houston office to rapidly grow and succeed under his leadership.

Within his first two years at Lucas Group, Johnson billed in excess of $800k as well as made the distinguished President’s Club, Sterling Club and Platinum Elite. He was quickly promoted to Senior Partner during his first year with Lucas Group and is on track to advance to Executive Senior Partner in 2015.

Matthew Johnson began his recruiting career as a Senior Recruiter with JRG. After five years, he transitioned to Burnett Specialists, where, as an Engineering Recruiter, he placed Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Operations and Structural Engineers within Oil and Gas Manufacturers and EPC/I companies. While there, he built an extensive network in the engineering industry and later became an HAAPC-accredited Recruiter.
