Lucid Announces the Connected Buildings Summit, a Collaborative Forum Uniting the Industry Leaders and Customers Shaping the Future of Intelligent Buildings

Drawing on a decade of Lucid’s commitment to delivering innovative building technology, the Connected Buildings Summit is an invitation-only conference designed to spark discussion and inspire action. Throughout two days of high-energy collaboration and engaging content, the summit will address a future in which disparate building systems are connected and controlled via a single operating system.

Confirmed speakers include industry visionaries such as John Picard, renowned architect and founding member of the U.S. Green Building Council; and Jim Kim, cofounder and general partner at Formation 8. Also sharing insights will be Lucid’s cofounder and CEO, Vladi Shunturov, and professionals from leading organizations like Stanford University, Dell and Genentech.
The Summit will feature a two-day Connected Buildings Hackathon, which will give developers the chance to create applications for BuildingOS that will be showcased on day two of the conference; a Technology Showcase, where select Lucid ConnectNow partners will demonstrate in real-time the innovative ways connected hardware and software are helping to enable intelligent buildings; and a Stanford Buildings Tour, which will highlight the cutting-edge ways Stanford’s buildings are constructed and managed.
The Connected Buildings Summit will take place at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Monday, May 11th through Wednesday, May 13th, 2015.
