Lumesis Inc. Appoints Peter M. Newman as Managing Director

Newman has joined the firm as Managing Director, Business Development. Pete brings to Lumesis a wealth of municipal bond industry knowledge and more than 16 years of experience in the regulatory compliance, capital markets and sell side brokerage sectors.

Most recently, Newman worked as Senior Vice President, Sales Manager at DPC DATA where he worked closely with many large tier, regional and online securities dealer firms. Newman’s professional background includes founding and serving as CEO of Gotham Software, a financial technology firm specializing in workflow and compliance solutions for the municipal market including DealTrack™ ECM software, the firm was acquired by Ipreo LLC. Prior to Gotham Software, Pete was a bond analyst and broker. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from The College of Wooster.
To support the increasing demand for Lumesis’ products and services, the firm has also expanded the team by adding Dalia Valdajevaite as their Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Lumesis, Dalia was a Sales and Marketing Coordinator for OTR Global LLC where she ran the Marketing group and spearheaded the institutional corporate marketing initiative. She began her career at Morgan Stanley working with the equity sales and trading team. Dalia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Iona College and an Art Degree from Princeton University.
