Luxury Asia Travel Luminary Dennis Tan Joins Remote Lands
Bangkok, Thailand (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Remote Lands, the world’s leading ultra-luxe Asia travel designer, is delighted to announce the appointment of Dennis Tan as Vice President of Sales, based in the company’s Bangkok office. Dennis will be responsible for looking after top travel agents worldwide, including the prestigious Virtuoso network, and he will make his debut at Virtuoso’s Travel Week event in Las Vegas August 10-15.
Originally from the Philippines, Dennis joins Remote Lands following a long & successful 20-year career with Abercrombie & Kent. Beginning in Hong Kong as a Tour Director in 1991, he went on to fulfill several roles at A&K including Sales & Marketing Manager, Regional Operations Director and Executive Director, culminating in a position as Managing Director for Southeast Asia and a seat on the company’s Southeast Asia board.
Following a career break, Dennis is fully refreshed and looking forward to joining the Remote Lands team. “I’m happy to be joining such a dedicated and highly specialized company as Remote Lands,” he said. “I am sure that my two decades of experience in Asia luxury travel will help us continue and expand on our current level of success in offering unique bespoke Asia experiences to the world’s most elite travel agents and their clients.”
