Lymphoma Research Foundation Announces Partnership with Annals of Lymphoma
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 06, 2017 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – today announced a new partnership with the Annals of Lymphoma (AOL), an open-access, international peer-reviewed electronic journal with worldwide distribution that publishes articles around key findings in basic and translational science, and clinical research relating to human lymphoma. This first-of-its-kind partnership will kick off during the month of September, Blood Cancer Awareness Month, in an effort to establish more direct lines of communication between the patient and research communities.

Cheson, MD, FACP, FAAS, FASCO, Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Lymphoma and past-Chair of LRF’s Scientific Advisory Board from 2010-2012. “This commitment demands a collaborative approach to address the evolving needs of the lymphoma community, inspiring new partnerships such as this throughout our field.”
The Lymphoma Research Foundation will partner with both the Annals of Lymphoma and the Annals of Oncology throughout the month of September and beyond, in order to establish more direct lines of communication between lymphoma researchers and the patients they support. The partnership’s awareness efforts will culminate in Light it Red for Lymphoma on September 15th, World Lymphoma Awareness Day, an initiative spearheaded by LRF during which over 100 of the world’s most recognizable landmarks will “light red” in support of blood cancer research.
