Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Scientific Leadership and Investment in Innovative Research Highlighted at the 2016 ASCO Annual Meeting
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 03, 2016 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – is proud to have members of its prestigious Scientific Advisory Board and research grantees present innovative and promising research at the 2016 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting taking place June 3-7.
Each year, the ASCO Annual Meeting provides educational sessions featuring world-renown faculty discussing state-of-the-art treatment modalities, new therapies and ongoing debates in the field of oncology. The Annual Meeting, which brings together 30,000 oncology professionals from around the world, has become one of the leading events in the clinical research oncology community. This year, ASCO will feature pivotal abstracts from Lymphoma Research Foundation Scientific Advisory Board members and grantees highlighting the impact of the Foundation’s innovative research portfolio.

Current members of LRF’s Scientific Advisory Board, which is comprised of 45 world-renowned lymphoma experts and guides LRF research activities and LRF Grantees, will account for 53 unique abstract presentations out of nearly 216 lymphoma-related abstracts at ASCO.
