Lyoness Child and Family Foundation America Is Rapidly Expanding U.S. Activities Under Leadership of New Director Simona Nagyova
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Hitting the ground running, the U.S. branch of the Lyoness Family and Child Foundation is off to a strong start, having completed its first project only a few months after its inception. Established in June 2013, it is the U.S. counterpart to the European-based Family and Child Foundation headquartered in Buchs, Switzerland. Founded in 2008, the European Lyoness Child & Family Foundation has completed more than 48 projects worldwide. More than 8,000 people, children and families, have received help.
According to the guiding principle "Education. Opportunities. Future.", the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation supports projects in the field of education under the main theme "education for all." The core of the Foundation is constructing schools in socially and economically deprived regions of the world. The Foundation stands up for the rights of children and families and wants to create access to education as well as to support educational facilities. The aim of the foundation, its staff and its supporters is to help people help themselves. The Foundation also provides material and financial assistance in disaster areas and for projects that create instant relief for people in need to secure their basic needs of existence.
Because of the rapid business expansion in the U.S. and Canada, Lyoness has established the Child and Family Foundation America to continue its important worldwide humanitarian missions. It proves once again that running a for-profit business can be in harmony with greater societal aspirations.
Building a solid foundation for a brighter future has always been, and will always be, through education. With a skilled and educated workforce, nations prosper. Education creates opportunities and ensures a better standard of living for future generations. Similar to the United Nations (UN) Children’s Rights Convention 1989 whose main focus is to provide education to everyone, the Lyoness Child and Family Foundation believes in the same philosophy. The Foundation helps people in need regardless of their cultural and ethnical background.
The U.S. Child and Family Foundation is now in high gear. The Lyoness Board recently appointed Ms. Simona Nagyova as the Operative Director to oversee operations. Ms. Nagyova is a familiar face in the international Lyoness business community. She has served Lyoness since 2007 in Europe, and transferred to the U.S. in 2011 as the Administrative Services Manager for Lyoness America, Inc.
"We have a full schedule of charitable projects," says Ms. Nagyova. "In January, we re-opened a newly renovated building of the Broward Children's Center with a newly furnished additional therapy room. We continue supporting the Broward Children Center and are planning several similar national projects not only in Florida State but also on the West Coast territory beginning 2014. These projects are comprehensive, with the involvement of the Foundation's administrative staff, Lyoness employees, and volunteers."

Ms. Nagyova is working hard on the next projects, which will include:
- Christmas activities, collecting gifts, toys and school supply from Lyoness employees for children in Broward Children Center and local Children’s Home Society in Florida, USA; and,
- Supporting the International Child and Family Foundation by getting new school uniforms for 90 pupils of the Lyoness school in Honduras “Escuela Lyoness” ("Lyoness School").
